One of my New Year resolution’s was to read more. I used to read all the time when I was younger, and that slowly dwindled down to maybe one book a year. Maybe.

Last week TV3 Ireland announced that it would be rebranding its channels, and, drum roll please ladies, introducing a brand new, female focused channel. Thank God. Me and my vagina were struggling with what to watch!
Today was my last exam- finally! Not that I really had that many … I only had four and they were spaced out quite nicely but still … when you’re lazy like me, exam season kills ya. While I’m finished sweating trying to write four pages in an hour and holding in my pee and sneezes in a drafty hall, I still have one more essay to write. Remember when I said that I was going to make a new blog? And that it would probably take a while because of college work?
It’s coming on a year since I’ve had this blog, and like all good relationships, I feel both it and myself have grown. We’re not the same girl and laptop we were when we started (even though we are but I’m trying to be poetic), but we’ve grown in the sense of the content that we produce. Me and my laptop. We’re a little team.
WARNING: This post may sound like an Oscars acceptance speech. Because it basically it is, in my eyes.
As this blog slowly, very slowly, increases, so does the enjoyment of and desire for writing. The subjects I study in college focus a lot on writing, and so subsequently I spend a lot of time planning and writing. But when I write here, for me, it feels different.
